I like how in the close up, you can see how sharp and glass-like each individual icicle is. I also like the color of the plant the icicles are attached to, and how each shoot comes from the same direction/location of the photograph.
Beautiful Steve. It definitely says march in Colorado. I took a very similar picture about a year ago. The small DOF is really beautiful to. Great Job. :)

You cause your viewer to LOVE detail. I think that is one of your strengths as a photographer - you can draw your viewer to that point of really wanting to get up close to the subject and see the DETAIL.
