I chose a simple name for today because the picture is pretty simple. It's a pencil, but it's bigger than you've likely ever seen one magnified. This was taken with my new Macro Filters, specifically with the +10, +4, +2, and +1 diopters stacked on top of each other to enable the closest possible macro.

OK you're never going to believe how my eye caught this at first glance. I totally did not look at the title. The left side of the pic looks like some stormy waves creeping up toward the rusty slate-like shoreline. I wondered where you could have found such and what photoshopping could have produced that effect! Then I saw the words and the title. Pencil. Amazing.
Wow anonymous, very insightful comment. Lol, I can see you're likin the whole macro thing, it's working well for you! Is that a flat pencil or what? Is it just so close up it LOOKS like that?
Again with you and your spiffy equipment. That is really cool though. SUPER MACRO! hehe. :)
