Dad had me take pictures today for a project that he's been working on which he is submitting to a contest. I got distracted for a little while and went off taking macro pictures of his work. What you see here is a Parallax Propeller chip. It has eight 80-something MHz processors in one chip, and is thus pretty powerful for most micro-controller type applications. Not that any of you know what that means...
Moving On...
Update: I got a Pro Flickr account with the money I made from Prom Portraits, and so I'm planning to post a lot to there for now as I figure out the details for my official photography site.
Portfolio's up! But I use flickr mostly now...
So without further delay, here are my two shiney new URL's:

Update Update (Feb 07th 2012): HI! I still check this blog every once in awhile. It's fun to have an archive of my first Project 365 still hanging out on blogspot. Cool.
Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, my web home base is now stevemoraco.com - Simple enough right?

Far too condescending, Steve.
Microcontrollers are small self-contained computers, which have processors, onboard RAM, and limited memory, for use in the control of small tasks that need no human interference.
But 8x80 Mhz is pretty fast for a microcontroller. What is he using it for?
It is indeed! He's using it for a lot of things, we have like 5 of them in our house. This project in particular, which he build custom from the ground up and programmed is for USB to CAN interaction. It's pretty cool.
Check out http://propcan.moraco.us/ for more, oh... and I did the pictures for that site too :D
Darn...I was just reading that too, and was going to make a comment along the same lines as Tom....only he beat me to it...Oh well.
