This is a palm tree in the middle of Kansas. It is one of 5 behemoth wood-and-metal palm trees that mark my favorite rest stop in all of Kansas. That's because in Kansas it doesn't take much more than a Starbucks and a clean restroom to qualify for my favorite rest stop!

Yes, Colby and Starbucks! Any who make that trek from time to time know that rest stop well. It's usually pretty crowded, right!
