These are the birds on the mantle above our fireplace. I turned one around so it looked like he was paying attention, and fired the in-camera flash to give a sense of depth with the light falloff. I think these guys are positively cute. We've had them ever since my dad became obsessed with "for the birds" which was a short film by Pixar that showed in theaters right in front of Monsters Inc.

Now that is cute. Little blue birds above the fireplace. Could get a little warm there -- Well, maybe not since Summer has just about arrived. I love all of them in a row. You seem to find some pretty cool stuff just around the house. Thanks for sharing
these birds are super cute. looks like you have a lot of them, too. It was a tough choice between this one and day 123 for my desktop background. so i think i'll compromise. My photography computer has birds, and my laptop will have day 123. Sweeeet.
