Moving On...

Update: I got a Pro Flickr account with the money I made from Prom Portraits, and so I'm planning to post a lot to there for now as I figure out the details for my official photography site.

Portfolio's up! But I use flickr mostly now...

So without further delay, here are my two shiney new URL's:

Update Update (Feb 07th 2012): HI! I still check this blog every once in awhile. It's fun to have an archive of my first Project 365 still hanging out on blogspot. Cool.

Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, my web home base is now stevemoraco.com - Simple enough right?

Day 150: Cow

In Memory of Shawnee.

This is Shawnee. She was my grandmother's dog for 9 long wonderful years, and was a big part of my summers at the Lake House. She passed away 3 days ago now. Day 148, June 7th to be exact. Both of my grandparents were very close to her, and they've had a hard time saying goodbye, especially since it was on vacation while we were in minnesota. This picture was taken the day before they found out she was sick with a case of fast-acting cancer, the day before she died. I only took 1 picture that day and I'm very thankful it turned out this well. The title is due to the fact that my Aunt Kim used to call her Cow because she was just a tad overweight. Grandma hated it but to me it stuck. The picture hasn't been resized, just cropped a little, so please take the time to check out the full view.

steve,
i'm so sorry for your family's loss. it's tough losing a dog, i know... I had to put down my golden retriever a year ago. But this is a great picture, and I'm glad you got it before she passed away.

Steve, I'm so sorry. She looks so sweet. I know your family must have many wonderful memories associated with her. It is always hard to say good-bye to our animals.

That does look like a really sweet dog, and even though she's gone- I'm sure she's already met my family's favorite dog (a Goldendoodle) and I bet they're havin a good ol' time:)
