This is my Fender Electric Guitar. It's actually pretty nice for the cool $100 amp + guitar price I payed when media-play went out of business. It completely suits my needs, and I really like it. I wanted to get a decent picture of it, and had this idea about 2 weeks back. This was taken in broad daylight (relatively speaking, it's been raining heavily all week so it was overcast) and the flash was used to overpower the sun in my 1/100th of a second exposure. I adjusted the contrast so that the guitar pops a little more, and I desaturated the whole thing to get rid of nasty blue highlights, and make the blue-green pick a little more subtle
Moving On...
Update: I got a Pro Flickr account with the money I made from Prom Portraits, and so I'm planning to post a lot to there for now as I figure out the details for my official photography site.
Portfolio's up! But I use flickr mostly now...
So without further delay, here are my two shiney new URL's:

Update Update (Feb 07th 2012): HI! I still check this blog every once in awhile. It's fun to have an archive of my first Project 365 still hanging out on blogspot. Cool.
Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, my web home base is now stevemoraco.com - Simple enough right?

Oooooooooo, pretty!!! :D I like it a lot!
I like how the depth of field takes us from the crispness of the up-close to the softer lines in the distant view. It'd be cool to clip in a piece of your audio -- maybe a favorite song you play. Whole thing kind of nudges a nostagic feeling in me.
that is incredible! great job
What color is it?
erm... it's black. And white. You can pretty much see that.
