Moving On...

Update: I got a Pro Flickr account with the money I made from Prom Portraits, and so I'm planning to post a lot to there for now as I figure out the details for my official photography site.

Portfolio's up! But I use flickr mostly now...

So without further delay, here are my two shiney new URL's:

Update Update (Feb 07th 2012): HI! I still check this blog every once in awhile. It's fun to have an archive of my first Project 365 still hanging out on blogspot. Cool.

Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, my web home base is now stevemoraco.com - Simple enough right?

Day 160: Dance Of Fire

Well, today my birthday present came in! It was an off camera flash which you can learn more about at the link. I have been using it all day and I actually read the manual. Can't wait to get some use out of it, but tonight was Colorado Springs' first large thunderstorm, and i was here for it! AMAZING! is all I can say. I got exactly 54 (!) pictures of actual lightning and it was pretty hard to pick the top 5. This is the best of the best, and you can see the rest over on my latest post on EiP.

Okay, now this time I'm REALLY jealous! I was sitting at home last night wishing I could get some crazy lightning pictures, but no, you just had to be cooler than me and actually get some amazing ones! :P

we never have cool thunderstorms here. we get all the misty drizzle you could ever want, and a few windstorms here and there, but rarely any awesome lightening like you coloradans do!

i'm jealous of your opportunities to take pictures of lightening. both this one and the EiP photos are amazing. I like the colors of the clouds around the actual bolt.

I love lightning storms. (As long as i'm safely grounded!) That rod of light is spectacular. And your Eip lightning posts -- great fun!
