Update Update (Feb 07th 2012): HI! I still check this blog every once in awhile. It's fun to have an archive of my first Project 365 still hanging out on blogspot. Cool.

Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, my web home base is now stevemoraco.com - Simple enough right?

Day 167: Cross

Today has been a great day so far, admittedly its only 2:48PM, but its been amazing. Mostly just because I'm really enjoying all the free-time. I rode out to monument today, took some pictures of this cross for my friend's mom's project/brochure. I really like the glowy effect i added. The power of photoshop is amazing. This is a cross of a local church that one of my old friends used to go to. After I took this I went to McD's to get a Large Sweet Iced Tea and a QPC (Quarter Pounder with Cheese) which isn't really a hard order. They got it wrong 3 times, and once i ended up paying $9.80 for like 4 sandwiches and a happy meal... it was a mess, but that's what happens when there are 20 people in one drive-through. They finally got it right-ish and i ended up with cold, but unsweetened tea, and a quarter pounder with WAAY to many onions, in a double quarter pounder box. So, that's pretty much all the interesting things that i have done today. How about you?

I really like the glowy effect you used, too! This is cool. your friend's mom should be happy with the outcome.

today I... woke up, talked to you and steph, and took a picture of my yard. and then i ate a sandwich. i wonder if they'll have the sweet iced tea at mcdonalds' in utah? because if they do I am going to get one. granted, it's only 2:12, but today's been fairly enjoyable :]

HEY!!! Lol, my cuz works at McD's during summer- and she says it's harder than it looks (at 3 in the mornings anyways) she says its a pain in the butt...anyhoo- I love the cross!!! I can't WAIT to take photoshop next year- if I'm remembering correctly- aren't you taking some form of that class as well?

Question -- probably kind of a dumb one -- but here goes. Is the top of that cross an upside-down angel? Guess everyone has their own experience with any picture so if I want to see it that way, guess that's what is it. And that glowy effect makes the angel look like it's doing a kamikaze into the cross. pretty cool, i must say
