Moving On...

Update: I got a Pro Flickr account with the money I made from Prom Portraits, and so I'm planning to post a lot to there for now as I figure out the details for my official photography site.

Portfolio's up! But I use flickr mostly now...

So without further delay, here are my two shiney new URL's:

Update Update (Feb 07th 2012): HI! I still check this blog every once in awhile. It's fun to have an archive of my first Project 365 still hanging out on blogspot. Cool.

Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, my web home base is now stevemoraco.com - Simple enough right?

Day 170: Simply Lit

Today was a speed challenge on DPChallenge.com. The topic was "light bulb" and all day i have been trying to come up with ideas. Unfortunately I was too busy to get this done before 10:00 which was the deadline for the challenge, but it still turned out well. I used my modified disposable camera to light up the bulb from behind, giving it the soft, even glow.

I like the lightbulb...And we'll see just how fantastical your next light-themed picture is (I'm actually kinda scared..eek) It's gonna be awesome...or is it? Hmm...I'll just have to wait and find out I suppose.

A backlit light bulb is certainly novel. If you had not explained that I certainly wouldn't have guessed the light was not actually coming from the bulb. But then I say "duh" to myself when I notice that it is displayed in an "unscrewed" state. Oops. It does indeed give that even feel that would not be normal for the natural light from the bulb,

This is beautiful. You are so creative with your pictures. I was a little confused at first when I saw that it was unscrewed and lit...
