Update: I got a Pro Flickr account with the money I made from Prom Portraits, and so I'm planning to post a lot to there for now as I figure out the details for my official photography site.

Day 226: Drive By


Yesterday was the first day in my life that I can recall our county getting a tornado warning, but it happened! Therefore, being the smart and cautious child I am, I grabbed my camera and headed to the best view I could find, hoping to catch any twister that might form. Turns out, none did. Which is why you're stuck with this picture of a car driving by in the torrential rain. Yes you heard right. Your asking yourself, "But how did you keep your camera safe from the rain Steve?" And the answer to that is simple: saran wrap. try it!* It really works.**

it's true. the saran wrap does work. i used it during the same storm, taking pictures from a lawn chair on my roof, about 15 miles south of steve.

Well, better a car traveling by than a twister wreaking havoc on the neighborhood. Yes, those "warning" can be rather worrisome. I think a see a small lamp in someone's window. Just kind a one of those gray days.
